Welcome to Hinamizawa village of the 59th year of Shouwa era.

Maebara Keiichi

The main male protagonist of the story. He has recently moved to Hinamizawa with his family after an incident back in his hometown.

Ryuguu Rena

The main female protagonist of the story. Rena is in the same grade level as Keiichi. She looks after him since he is new to the village.

Sonozaki Mion

Mion, who is older than Keiichi, is the president of the class. She is looked up by her classmates as a leader because of her cheerful and caring personality.

Houjou Satoko

Satoko is Keiichi's younger classmate. Her manner of speech is very distinct and sounds very stuck-up. She loves to set traps.

Furude Rika

Rika is younger than Keiichi and is the sole daughter of the Furude shrine priest. She is very close to Satoko and behaves very mature for her age.
